NCLH Commitment to Safety, Security, Health and Environmental Protection
2018 was another exceptional year full of meaningful accomplishments for our company. We welcomed our 26th ship into the fleet, Norwegian Bliss, expanded sailings to highly sought-after premium destinations such as Alaska and Cuba while also generating another year of industry-leading, record financial results. And thanks to the efforts of our 33,000 team members around the globe, we made substantial progress on our global environmental program, “Sail & Sustain” and on our goals to increase sustainable sourcing, minimize waste to landfills, invest in emerging technologies and reduce CO2 emissions.

Statement on Responsible Sourcing
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. has several guiding principles when it comes to sourcing, an important part of our continued efforts towards sustainability. The company is committed to working with partners across the supply chain to source safe, high quality, ethically responsible and sustainable products for our guests.
In 2015, we committed in the U.S. to purchasing eggs from preferred suppliers who raise their hens in cage-free environments by 2025. Farms today do not yet produce enough cage-free eggs to meet that demand but, by committing to this transition, we are providing suppliers the confidence that there will be a market for cage-free eggs for those who make the necessary investments.
We are also committed to working with our suppliers of animal-based proteins to identify and utilize sustainable and humane practices for raising, housing and processing meat, and to ensure that by 2024, all our chicken in the U.S. and Canada will be sourced from Global Animal Partnership (GAP) certified suppliers and processed using a multi-step controlled-atmosphere system.
This commitment is a continued and ongoing quest for improvement, as suppliers continue to make new products available.
